Politico Magazine published a lengthy article on September 21, 2017 about Becoming A Man (BAM) the Chicago based mentoring program serving thousands of risk youth. BAM founder Anthony Di Vittorio is a ManKind Project #NewWarrior brother.  From the article – “BAM … requires all counselors to go on a weekend retreat put on by the ManKind Project… The retreat is a key part of BAM counselors’ “rites-of-passage work,” an ongoing examination of their challenges and character.”

The article discusses the fact that BAM inspired President Obama to start My Brother’s Keeper, a national program for at risk youth of color. You can read the whole article at: www.politico.com/Group Therapy is Saving Lives in Chicago
