MKP Reorg – End State

The ManKind Project USA

Reorganization:  An End State Summary

●  All Centers that chose to have voluntarily consolidated into one, vertically-integrated organization.  Centers remain self-governed by their Councils.

●  Centers are served by a small national team of highly qualified professionals who report to the MKP USA Community through an elected Council.

●  All paid employees in Centers are employees of MKP USA.

●  All financial resources are pooled and leveraged on behalf of the ENTIRE MKP USA Community through the efforts of marketing, development, curriculum design, etc.

●  As a result of new national Marketing strategies, enrollment grows by 15% per year.  Center budgets are growing at the same rate.

●  Centers that have voluntarily combined their strength into an Area configuration are realizing synergies in the coordination of trainings, enrollment, constituency interaction and administrative support as well as better sharing of best practices.

●  Centers, Areas and MKP USA all use a common accounting platform allowing real-time access to appropriate financial information at all levels.

●  A small national finance team of accounting professionals is handling payments, processing, and collection for all training revenues, and many expenses, drastically cutting the amount of time required of local volunteers.

●  Centers have been relieved of many tedious administrative functions, allowing Center governing bodies to focus on activities that directly support mission such as I-Group support, trainings and community building.

●  I-Groups are now the focus for the development of new programs, trainings, and support.  Our primary metric is now the number of men in I-Groups.

●  New Leadership Paths have been established for I-Group Facilitation, Social Entrepreneurship (Mission Work) and Community Leadership.

●  An I-Group Facilitator provides direct support for the formation, training and crisis management of each I-Group, and links I-Groups to their communities.

●  New trainings support the transitions of a man’s life including “Fatherhood,” “Living in Partnership,” “Moving into Elderhood” and “Death and Dying.”

●  30% of the men who take ANY of our trainings find their way into an I-Group within 6 months.  I-Groups lose only 10% of their members each year, leading to a rapidly growing base of members.

●  The addition of new Leadership Paths and trainings for men AFTER they have attended an NWTA keeps men continuously engaged with MKP and provides a strong motivation for community support and interaction.

●  MKP has won a public reputation as a force for good and as a catalyst for men taking missions of service into the world.
