Fundraising System Access Confidentiality And Usage Agreement

Please Complete Orientation Check list

Men

You’ve been invited and agreed to serve as part of a team in our evolving organization’s fundraising efforts. As with previous efforts such as the Chairman’s Campaign phon-a-thons, our volunteers were each exposed to private information regarding the contribution histories of our donors, and in many cases actual credit card numbers. We’ve relied on the goodwill and verbal agreement of our volunteer fundraisers to keep confidential this information and to never exploit it for personal use.

That is not changing. We are not asking you to sign a legal contract.

But with these new efforts we are unlikely to group together in person and make commitments like this in the same way we have previously. We are moving towards virtual fundraising, and to do that with an echo of our previous in-person agreements, I have created this page simply acknowledging the ethical obligations that we undertake to protect the integrity of our donors’ private data.

We are also working in a new system – one that provides direct access to much of the platform our staff has configured for data storage and improvement. So along with the protection of confidential information we ask you to protect this new system, its setup, configuration and the data stored in it. We ask you to not make any changes beyond those you have been trained in and empowered to deploy.

With immense gratitude for your time, effort, and caring, we ask you in advance to agree to the following four specifics.

Please check each box to reflect your intentions.  When the form is completed there will be a bit of human lag time before your system access is created – this is NOT an automated process.

Thank you very much. Please contact me directly with any questions.
