We need more people with the mission of making the world a safer, better, more loving place for all. The men of the Mankind Project carry that mission and are committed to learning and growing and then giving to the world. The many projects and programs that have evolved from the mission of the MKP have a ripple effect that touches the lives of hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions, of people.
When I saw the Ripples board (a list of organizations that have been created by MKP members) at the 25th Anniversary celebration, my first reaction was tears of gratitude and amazement at how far reaching the effects are of this work, quickly followed by a sense that I hadn’t done enough! As I processed these emotions, I realized that thousands of men were carrying forward the mission of making the world a safer place, through healthy emotions and personal responsibility, each with their own unique focus and talents. As I have traveled the world, I have met men who are making a difference and then am so touched to find out that they are NWTA/MKP men carrying on the mission, where I least expected to find them!!
I am proud to hold the honor of Grandmother of the NWTA. I look forward to the healing and hope that the MKP New Warriors will continue to bring to our world.
