How to have your Training or Program Considered by the ManKind Project USA

The ManKind Project USA Curriculum Circle uses a multi-step process to review and screen new proposals.

This document is an overview of the submission process.

First. Is this an existing curriculum, or an idea you have for a training or program?

If it’s an idea you think would be valuable as an offering from the ManKind Project USA, send an email with your idea to curriculum@mkpusa.org. This starts a conversation to explore whether there is any opportunity for development.

If this is existing curriculum (a program that has been run successfully one or more times), and

  • The program clearly aligns with MKP USA Mission, Vision, and Values, and
  • You have the right to present the program. If you do not own or have rights to the intellectual property being used, you are not authorized to submit the program.

This form collects much of the information we need to review your offering. You must be logged in to a Google account to complete this form. After submission, a representative of the Curriculum Circle will contact you to confirm your submission and follow-up with any additional questions.

The Curriculum Circle then schedules a time for a live review. You may or may not be asked to participate in this review. The process of collecting additional information and scheduling takes time. The committee meets twice per month, and often has a backlog of work.

If the submission is approved, a representative will contact you to talk about the next steps in the process.

Two ways that a Curriculum can be approved:

  1. Hosted / Sponsored Programs This is a program completely administered, hosted, and insured by MKP USA. All programs approved by MKP USA need to run one Alpha and two Beta sessions with successful feedback before full approval.
  2. Affiliate Trainings / Programs This is a program administered and run by another organization that can be promoted and advertised as an MKP Affiliate Training.  MKP USA will work with you to craft an Affiliate Agreement for the training which will include some type of commission or profit sharing to MKP USA.

If the submission is not approved, a representative will contact you to let you know.

In some cases the circle requests changes and asks that the program be brought back. In some cases, the circle may decide the program is out of scope with the overall direction of MKP USA curriculum.

Thank you.
