Generations of Connection
The ManKind Project
Celebrates 40 Years
of Transforming Men’s Lives
Tucson, AZ – September 26-28, 2025 – The ManKind Project USA will host the ManKind Project’s 40th Anniversary Celebration, marking four decades of profound impact on men, families, and communities worldwide. Since the first “Wild Man Weekend” in January 1985, the ManKind Project has supported nearly 80,000 men through the flagship New Warrior Training Adventure (NWTA), expanded men’s groups to over 26 countries, and contributed to positive change affecting millions of people through men’s lived missions of service.
For 40 years, the ManKind Project has empowered men to step into lives of integrity, authenticity, and accountability. By fostering deep personal growth and emotional intelligence, the organization has helped men strengthen their relationships, improve their mental well-being, and build communities rooted in support and connection. Through training programs and facilitated peer groups, the ManKind Project provides a space where men engage in meaningful self-discovery and develop the skills to lead with purpose.
The 40th Anniversary Celebration will bring together the organization’s founders and men of the first generation of Leaders who helped ignite a global movement in men’s personal growth. With them, training alumni from 3 more generations of men’s work, partners, supporters, family and community members from around the world will share a weekend of reflection, inspiration, and connection. Highlights of the event include:
- Welcome Reception & Festivities (Friday)
- Engaging Panels, History Room, and Co-Gender Workshop (Saturday)
- Gala Celebration Dinner & Founder’s Circle of Honor Awards (Saturday Evening)
- Closing Circle & Farewell Gathering (Sunday)
“Over the last four decades, the ManKind Project has played a vital role in helping men become better men to create a more compassionate and conscious world,” said Boysen Hodgson, Communications Director for the ManKind Project USA. “This milestone celebration is not just about looking back at our achievements but also about lighting our fires for the future—ensuring that our work continues to support men in becoming the best versions of themselves.”
The event will be held at the Sheraton Tucson Hotel & Suites, offering a central location with easy access to local attractions. Special hotel rates are available for attendees.
