The ManKind Project USA is postponing, rescheduling, or as a last course of action, canceling all upcoming events through April 30, 2020. (On March 18, 2020 this date was moved to June 1, 2020.) This includes New Warrior Training Adventures, Advanced Leadership Trainings, and Community Gatherings. We will evaluate events after this date as the situation evolves in the coming days and weeks. MKP USA urges all men and women connected to the ManKind Project to follow the latest CDC and WHO guidelines to prevent spread of COVID-19. We join thousands of responsible nonprofit organizations taking steps to #flattenthecurve of this public health crisis, and prioritize our collective health and wellbeing. After all, “taking individual and shared responsibility for the future of humanity” is part of our mission.

We also affirm our reason for being; the uniquely powerful transformative work we do in person on the New Warrior Training Adventure and in our face to face men’s groups will continue. We are actively registering men for trainings later in the spring and summer. We are taking this turning point moment to accelerate an evolutionary process that has been underway in our organization for over a decade. We are committed to being here for the generations to come; powerful, compassionate, purpose-driven men helping to heal some of our society’s deepest wounds.

During this time, the ManKind Project remains committed to providing transformational growth opportunities for men around the world through online men’s support groups and training programs. We are also rapidly expanding our capacity to support online facilitated men’s groups and converting core program offerings for online delivery.

This crisis will place significant pressure on MKP USA’s limited resources as a volunteer driven nonprofit organization. Many involved in the serious discussions of the past weeks have noted with gratitude the love, care, and concern being shown by the men of MKP in this challenging time. We will rely on this trend to continue, that our love of one another and our love of the world will hold the center as we continue to move forward.

Men and women are demonstrating outstanding grace and generosity to MKP, recognizing the tremendous value that the ManKind Project brings to the world, and the financial impact this crisis will have. We are thankful for these acts of commitment to our long-term success. We invite your support and participation as we continue to create brave spaces for men to be part of the evolution of manhood for the 21st century.

Thank you,
